a. The maintenance of a complete record of all flights, including check flights, cable breaks, special occurrences, flight certificates gained, training and calculation of launch and soaring fees due.
Note  With a cable break, if the flight time can only be entered as zero minutes, do not count it as a launch unless the cable break is simulated.
The time of the launch is to be recorded from the time the glider starts the ground roll and the landing is to be recorded as the time the glider stops moving.
b. Making sure that all new full members complete and sign a membership form before they fly.
c. Making sure that all temporary members complete and sign a membership form, and pay the necessary subscription BEFORE THEY FLY.
d. Making sure that in addition to 1 (c-d) a person under the age of 18 years is in possession of a parents' consent form, duly signed by the parent or guardian, before flying.
e. Returning the flight logs, money, membership forms and aircraft log books to the clubhouse at the end of flying.
f. Making sure that the person taking over the log from the current timekeeper is fully conversant with the operating rules for the timekeeper.
 g. When aero towing is taking place, the timekeeper must log the tug air time ie take-off to tug touchdown. The glider flight time will be logged separately.
