TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR THE ENGINEERING MEMBER
1. You are responsible to the CFI for the duties contained in these terms of reference.
2. You are required to oversee all engineering matters within the Club. This includes the maintenance of both aircraft and ground support equipment.
3. You are required to write and maintain a set of Engineering Orders based on the requirements of the RAFGSA. You are to draw the attention of all necessary persons to any changes or amendments to the Orders.
4. You are required to provide written terms of reference for the Aircraft Member and the Ground Support Equipment Member.
5. You are required to ensure that all planned and timed aircraft maintenance is carried out as per RAFGSA requirements and you are to oversee the progress of such maintenance.
6. You are the Club's advisor on documentation and are to take steps to ensure that you are capable of checking all documents for accuracy before they are submitted to any higher authority.
7. You are appointed Club Fire Officer.
8. You are appointed Club Health and Safety Officer and are to carry out the necessary assessments.
